2017 Santa Rita Hills Pinot Noir
A combination of grapes from two Sta. Rita Hills vineyards, our 2017 edition of Windrun’s limited-production bottling showcases some of the finest Pinot Noir available from this famous appellation, sourcing wines from the northwestern section and exhibiting an ideal balance of this classical varietal’s characteristics. Has aromatics of bright cherry, baked rhubarb, raspberry, earth tones, white pepper, nutmeg and cinnamon. Nice structured balance with soft tannins and pleasant acidity. Racy with fine tannins and lingering finish. It has been aged 18 months in French oak barrels.
